A delegation of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Turkey headed by President Mr. Zühtü ARSLAN, and consisting of Justice Mr. Hasan Tahsin GÖKCAN and Chief Rapporteur-Judge Mr. Abdullah ÇELİK paid an official visit to the Constitutional Court of Uzbekistan on 5-7 June 2016. The delegation was received by President Mr. Bakhtiyar MIRBABAEV and other justices of the Constitutional Court of Uzbekistan.

After the visit to the Constitutional Court of Uzbekistan, the delegation participated in the international conference titled “The Place and the Importance of the Constitutional Control Body in Effective Functioning of Checks and Balances System between the Branches of State Power” organized by the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic on 8-11 June 2016. President Mr. ARSLAN made a speech on “The Constitutional Control of Legislative and Executive Powers: A Cursory View of the Turkish Experience”.
