The President of the African Court on Human and Peoples' Rights, Mr. Augustino S.L. RAMADHANI and the accompanying delegation arrived to Turkey to pay a study visit to our Court on 8-12 May 2016.

The guest delegation was received by the President of Constitutional Court Mr. Zühtü ARSLAN on 9 May 2016; afterwards, the visiting delegation attended seminars at our Court and they were provided detailed information on the structure, duties and powers of the Turkish Constitutional Court, the procedure of individual application and the leading judgments of the Court. The Delegation of the African Court on Human and Peoples' Rights also made a presentation on their own powers and functions.

The delegation, after having paid visits to the high courts and judicial bodies in Turkey and having attended the social program organized by our Court, returned to their country on 12 May 2016.
