President of the Turkish Constitutional Court, Mr. Kadir Özkaya, received Vice-President of the High People’s Court of Zhejiang Province of the People’s Republic of China, Mr. Jiang Weiyu, and the accompanying delegation, who paid a working visit to Türkiye at the invitation of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on enhancing mutual dialogue and the sharing of experience between the judicial institutions of the two countries. It was also emphasised that stronger cooperation in the judicial field would make significant contributions to the legal systems of both countries.

The meeting also addressed recent developments concerning digital transformation in judicial services and the use of artificial intelligence technologies in the administration of justice. It was noted that, as the use of artificial intelligence technologies in the judicial field becomes increasingly widespread, the sharing of experience among the highest judicial bodies has gained greater importance. In this regard, the parties discussed how the experience acquired in the digital transformation process could contribute to enhancing the effectiveness of judicial services.

Also present at the meeting were Vice-President of the Constitutional Court Mr. Basri Bağcı, Secretary General Mr. Murat Azaklı, Deputy Secretary General of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors Ms. Müjgan Karyağdı, and other officials.
