WORKLOAD OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT

The statistics on the workload of the Constitutional Court between 1962-2011 are shown below.

As of 31.12.2011, considering all categories 109 cases are pending. Until 2012, 49 cases on dissolution of political parties were adjudicated. The Court acted in its capacity as Grand Tribunal in 14 cases since 1962.

The avarage number of concrete and abstract review cases between 1981 and 2000 is around 42. Between 2000 - 2011, the number of cases has been increased four times higher than the avarage in result of extensive law reforms.
